What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a state where your body and conscious mind is relaxed and your subconscious mind is alert and awake. You are in a state of heightened awareness, focusing on yourself and your desired outcomes. Hypnosis is very similar to a daydream where you get so involved in your own inner experience that your body produces a physical response. Trance is a natural state of being which you enter at least twice a day before drifting off to sleep and before being fully awake and it can be used in a most empowering way to shift unwanted behaviours and belief systems while being fully in control.
Who can be hypnotised?
If you can read and if you can sleep, you can be hypnotised. Trance is a natural state that you enter many times a day, for example when you get totally absorbed in a game, movie or book and everything in the outside world fades away. In a session this stage of relaxed awareness gets used to achieve your desired outcome. Because you are always in control over what to say and what to do, hypnosis is ultimatley self-hypnosis. Your mind is one of your most powerful assets, use it to your advantage! How would your life be when you divert the power of your mind from negative thoughts into your ally to achieve your goals?
What is Parts Therapy?
Parts therapy is based on the concept that our personality is composed of a number of various parts. Our personality parts are aspects of the subconscious, each with its respective jobs or functions of the inner mind. In other words, we tend to wear many different hats as we walk along the path of life.

In day to day life this could be for example an inner conflict between a part that wants to do exercise and another part that wants to sit on the sofa and play games. During Parts Therapy the hypnosis facilitator can mediate between the conflicting parts which leads to inner harmony and makes achieving your goals possible.

Will I loose control, do silly things and forget everything?
The state of hypnosis is totally safe and natural. You enter a hypnotic trance state multiple times a day, for example driving to a destination without consciously thinking about the road, getting absorbed into a conversation while loosing track of time or simply daydreaming. Hypnosis is self-hypnosis, you are always in control over what you say and what you do. In my client-centered Hypnotherapy sessions the aim is to achieve your desired outcome and not entertainment. You will remember what you need to remember and forget what no longer serves you.
